Types of Cremation Services

- Chapel Service and Cremation
Brisbane has a number of crematorium chapels which host both religious or non-religious funeral services.
Cremation normally takes place after the service attendees have left the chapel.
If the crematorium has a condolence lounge, family members and friends can gather there after the service.
- Church Service and Cremation
Those who would like to have a religious funeral service can do so in their preferred church or religious establishment.
Once the service has finished, the deceased is taken to the crematorium in a hearse.
Often family members will remain at the church with family and friends or attend a wake, rather than following the hearse.
- Non-attended Cremation
A non-attended cremation service is an option for those who do not want a full funeral service.
In this instance, a representative from Anton Brown Funerals takes the deceased person to the crematorium.
Following this, we will return a loved one’s ashes to their family so they can have a memorial service or spread the person’s ashes at their final resting place.
